Principal Maine Office
Adam Sturtevant, Regional Vice President, has run the Maine office of Northern Benefits since 2005. Adam helps clients navigate the world of health care reform while using tax favored and alternative financing options to mitigate costs. He provides options for Health, Dental, Life, and Disability plans. Adam solidifies and supports his recommendations by providing employee communications and ensuring that the client is in compliance. Adam began his career at UNUM and has held numerous positions from client services to accounting, transitioning to self-funding and tax favored plans for Benefit Management of Maine and then Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Broker/Client Services Maine Office
Lori Lape, Vice President, Account Management, has been with Northern Benefits since 2008. She has over 25 years of experience in the employee benefits industry with both insurance carriers as well as agencies. Lori’s background in both service and sales enables her to take a unique approach with her clients. Her relationships vary depending on the customer’s needs. Her focus is to become a part of the organization, helping out in a variety of HR functions as well as managing the employee benefit program for the client. Lori’s approach to employee benefits helps business owners provide their employees with superior benefit packages and results in helping them to recruit and retain the best employees in their industry. Lori is experienced in dealing with groups of all sizes, from sole proprietors to large associations. Her experience includes both sales and customer service positions, offering her a unique perspective in order to assist her clients.
Angela is our Manager of Client Satisfaction and has been with Northern Benefits for four years. She brings many years of Customer Service experience and was a small business owner, giving her a unique perspective on client needs. Angela works directly with your employees, helping them to navigate through any difficult scenario successfully. Her knowledge of the carrier systems and processes gives you and your employees a champion to resolve claims and administrative questions.
